At the 9th Annual Rail Stations Conference join us while we analyse the observations of Secretary of State for Transport, Lord Adonis's 5-day tour of Britains railways.
We will review the drive to improve access to stations under the national station travel plans initiative.
We will discuss the latest thinking in station design and management as well as cover detailed matters like layout and signage.
In times of economic uncertainty, rail station accessibility can also be key to encouraging rail travel and generating crucial revenue.
Attendance at this conference is vital for all those involved in planning, designing, operating and managing railway stations in the UK.
Sessions include:
- The policy and management framework
- Fitting stations into the wider transport and urban context
- Station design and development: finding the right framework
- The passenger friendly station – styling and signage
Presented by an excellent range of speakers including the authors of the independent Stations Champions’ report on the state of facilities for passengers across the country.
