Croydon council has released a video of a car being crushed as a warning against the unlicensed selling cars on the street. The south London local authority says people who want to sell their car on public streets need a licence to sell goods on the highway.
Mark Watson, the council’s cabinet member for safety and justice, highlighted the example of a car found offered for sale in Selsdon Park Road without a licence, insurance, or registration.
