Council parking spending has fallen by 8% since 2010, says LGA

Local government spending on parking has fallen by around 8%, according to new data released by the Local Government Association. The LGA has created an online tool that tracks the changes in spending that have taken place in core services such as parking over the past five years.

The LGA’s Future Funding interactive tool enables users to check the changes in spending on services. It reveals that spending on parking has decreased 8% from £811m in 2010/11 to £749m in 2013/14....
