Tourism officials in Cumbria are calling for simpler car parking regulations for the Lake District National Park.

Local councils and other organisations currently operate their own systems, meaning visitors are confronted with different charges and enforcement regulations. Cumbria Tourism is looking for parking operators in the National Park to adopt a consistent approach to pricing structures and when charging periods start and end.
