Following a successful pilot project to reduce congestion on London’s red route network Transport for London (TfL) is rolling out the scheme to the rest of the capital using a fleet of 21 removal vehicles tasked with policing and enforcement on the network.

The new vehicles are equipped with satellite navigation and automatic number plate recognition software. Parking attendants will be able to link to the onboard computer and alert the closest truck to the precise location of a vehicle...
