Motorcyclists object to Armadillos

A motorcycle group is urging councils not to install Armadillo delineators for cycle lanes, claiming they pose a hazard for powered two-wheeler riders. 

Armadillos, which are made of recycled PVC, are manufactured by Spanish firm Zicla and distributed in the UK by Cyclehoop. Cyclehoop describes them as a “robust, sturdy cycle lane segregator”. It says over 100,000 have been installed across 31 towns and cities in Europe and North America over the last seven years.
