A workplace parking levy (WPL) for Oxford is among the proposals in a transport strategy drawn up by Oxfordshire County Council.
The draft strategy, approved by the council on 27 January, will now go to public consultation in February, returning to the cabinet for approval by summer 2015. The levy would be implemented in Oxford between 2020 and 2025. The WPL would be based on the scheme introduced in Nottingham in April 2012.
