Northamptonshire County Council has signed a four-year extension with KierWSP for highways services, taking the contract up to March 2020. The contract extension has a value of £200m and is an enhanced version of the existing contract. The council describes the new arrangements, called ‘Making Northamptonshire Work’, as a strategic alliance and says it will deliver further efficiencies.
