Slight margin slip for Serco NedRail in Merseyside but patronage growth returns

TRAIN operator Merseyrail?Electrics recorded increases in operating and pre-tax profits during the 52 weeks ended January 6 2007, according to the company’s annual accounts. However, the returns were earned at reduced margins.
