Megabus launches first express double deck coaches for United States
STAGECOACH HAS announced a $10 million investment in America’s first inter-city double-decker coaches. The 17 79-seat vehicles, which are manufactured by Van Hool, are being introduced on services from the group’s Chicago Megabus hub.
Stagecoach chief executive Brian Souter said: “These new state-of-the-art double-decker coaches are a first for the United States and will support our strategy to develop the Megabus brand in North America.
