Cardiff Bus officially apologises for predatory action against competitor

Council-owned bus operator Cardiff Bus has officially apologised for predatory behaviour against a competitor at a public inquiry convened by Welsh traffic commissioner Nick Jones.
The case was called after Cardiff Bus was found to have breached competition law by the Office of Fair Trading after it engaged in anti-competitive practices in 2004 against AIM-listed bus operator 2 Travel. The action was deemed to be a contributing factor in the subsequent demise of 2 Travel.
