Operators desert Fraser Eagle’s as financial problems mount

Speculation is mounting about the future of Lancashire-based coach operator and rail replacement service  Fraser Eagle  after it laid off 50 staff and rumours surfaced about scores of operators unpaid for sub-contract work.

Late last month the firm announced it was to lay off 50 of its 170 staff for an interim four week period, with the prospect of the staff being made redundant if additional work was not found.
