Arriva delivers strong revenue growth and expansion, but profit margins slip slightly
EUROPEAN transport group Arriva recorded slightly reduced operating but increased pre-tax profits in the year to December 31 2006, according to the company’s annual accounts. The reduction in operating profit follows the disposal last year of the group’s vehicle hire business, and falls in margins in the UK?Rail and European passenger transport businesses.
