Open access services to Rutland planned for Midland Main Line

Proposals are being drawn up for a new open access commuter operation from Rutland to St Pancras.
The new company, Rutland Rail, would run from Melton Mowbray and Oakham to the Midland Main Line via the new station at Corby, a route currently used only for freight and as a diversionary line for East Midlands Trains.
