Arriva launches £1.40 flat fare
ARRIVA?HAS launched a new flat fare for its Liverpool network and has pledged to continue offering half price child fares during the morning peak. The new £1.40 adult and 70p child fares came into force last weekend.
Merseytravel had threatened to withdraw its subsidy for the peak time half price child fares in February following a ruling from the Department for Transport that it must increase reimbursement rates to bus operators.
