Forget the Bank of Mum & Dad, here come Parent Minicabs
Some parents are spending up to 50 hours a month, per offspring, ferrying their children about by car a survey shows. The survey, for the AA Driving School, polled more than 6,300 parents, and found that up to a third of them spend between 10 and 49 hours a month transporting their children by car. The report said that with the average number of children per family at 1.9 this meant that many parents were spending nearly double the times given in the survey driving their children.
