PATROL’s Tony Burns passes away, aged 71
Tony Burns, chair of the Bus Lane Adjudication Service Joint Committee and vice chair of The PATROL (Parking and Traffic Regulations Outside London) Adjudication Joint Committee, has died.
Cllr Burns passed away, aged 71, on 14 April after a short illness. He took a leading role in setting up what was the National Parking Adjudication Service and subsequently the Traffic Penalty Tribunal. He was also the inaugural Chair of the Bus Lane Adjudication Service Joint Committee.
