Higher charges for streetworks overruns
The Department for Transport has increased the maximum charges that highway authorities can impose on utility companies for over-running streetworks. From 1 October the maximum daily charge will rise from £2,500 to £5,000 on the busiest roads for the first three extra days of overrun and thereafter to £10,000....
