Hackney says new style parking partnership will save £510k a year

A new style parking partnership between Hackney Council and APCOA Parking will see the two operating as a joint unit within the same office.
The north-east London council has retained APCOA as its enforcement operator, but the new contract, which came into force on 1 April, will see closer co-operation. Ten members of Hackney’s parking team have relocated to APCOA’s Hackney office in Mare Street.
