Lambeth offers online permit renewals
An online parking permit system being offered to residents in Lambeth is set to save the London borough at least £100,000 a year. As a result of the new service, the council has closed its Parking Shop in Kennington, saving on running costs.
Drivers can now renew their permit by visiting the council’s website and linking to the online service, which is available 24 hours a day. Permits will be posted to the customer within five working days, said the council.
