Grim reality behind the Olympic fantasy

The 2012 Olympic Games will, without doubt, be a cost burden to most commercial vehicle operators due to the need to operate a night-time delivery service to all customers on the Olympic Road Network (ORN). Added to this will be the cost of lost day-time productivity between mid-July and mid-September emanating from the city’s increased “population”  and the many hundreds of road restrictions which will increase the mileage driven on a normal days activity.
