Crime falls on buses and tube in capital
The level of crime on London’s buses has fallen by 9% over the past year while on the tube and DLR it is down 10%. Figures from Transport for London show that violent criime on buses was down from 6,576 to 5,651 while criminal damage fell from 2,060 to 1,775.
On the tube and DLR violent crime fell from 1,971 to 1,792 while criminal damage fell from 1,066 to 738. Theft of passenger property fell form 6,520 to 6,021 while serious public order dropped from 1,307 to 979....
