No enforcement for a year in Mid-Wales towns
Ceredigion County Council is set to introduce civil parking enforcement more than a year after Dyfed-Powys Police phased out traffic warden enforcement in the county. In Aberystwyth and Cardigan drivers were routinely blocking delivery bays, using disabled spaces, double-parking and leaving their vehicles too close to junctions, the AA reported.
A council spokeswoman said the public had been informed that there would be a gap in the transfer from the police to the county authorities....
