Failed joints replaced at the Shires Gateway
The Shires Gateway shopping centre in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, has undergone extensive movement joint installation after a catastrophic failure of the perimeter joint. The car park deck was recently completed to provide parking above the shopping mall, but had suffered water leakage due to unforeseen excessive movement.
Engineer Halcrow engaged Radflex Contract Services to undertake the works due to their expertise and knowledge of ‘buried joint systems’ and perimeter joint detailing....
