Metric makes its mark Stateside
After a successful pilot project, Metric Parking has been awarded a contract with Hoboken, New Jersey, for 135 Aura pay & display machines.
During the piloting of 10 machines, the city of 50,000 inhabitants saw a 30% increase in revenue and additional parking spaces.
These spaces were created by moving from the traditional single space meters to pay & display. Hoboken found it could fit two to three more cars on a given block, said Metric.
