Aberdeen increases parking charges

Aberdeen City Council is increasing parking charges in a bid to raise £658,000 in additional revenue as part of the plans to tackle financial shortfalls in the council’s budget.
Short stay car parking, for up to an hour rises from 35p to £, three to four hours parking rises from £3.20 to £4. In long-stay car parks, four to five hours parking rises from £3.60 to £5, and £8 to £10 for six to 10 hours parking.
