New P&R plan for Truro
Cornwall Council is to submit a planning application for a new £7.5m park & ride site serving Truro. The 1,300-space site, east of the city, would be part of a wider district centre including new homes and retail stores.
Existing bus services from the P&R site on the western side of the city would be extended to serve the new site. The western site currently requires a subsidy of £350,000 a year but Cornwall believes this would be reduced when the eastern site opens....
