SIA decides against single generic licence
The Security Industry Authority (SIA) has dropped the idea of a single generic SIA licence after carrying out a consultation.
Although there was some interest in a more integrated approach, the option for a single licence card received only limited support, said the SIA.
The present licence cards are specific to each sector. Those operatives working in more than one sector may require multiple licences.
