Parkeon signs electric car charging deal

Parkeon is to work with Schneider Electric to develop an electric vehicle charging system which combines energy management and pay-by-space technology.

The intention is to pilot schemes of electric vehicles (EVs) in Europe and North America. The companies believe that parking management and payment charging for electrical vehicles are needed that are directly connected. The partners intend to be capable of installing on-street EV systems in 2011.
