Free ‘eco-permits’ for low emission cars in Lambeth
Free parking permits for environmentally friendly vehicles are being introduced in Lambeth. From April 2010 the £30 permit for the lowest polluting electric vehicle in the south London borough will be available free of charge. Permits for the second-lowest polluting band will fall from £100 to £90.
However, the cost for cars that pollute the most will be raised, from £130 to £135 for vehicles in band four, and £160 to £180 in the highest polluting band...
