Government seeks views on bailiff fees

The Ministry of Justice (MOJ) is expected to launch a public consultation on bailiff fee reform in January. The document looks set to propose streamlined, one-off fees will be proposed, with a single ‘compliance’ fee for all collection activity before the bailiff visits the debtor, and a single fee for doorstep enforcement.
