Window fitter wins six months free parking in Westminster

Westminster City Council has awarded a window fitter six months free parking in central London after he made the two millionth pay-by-phone transaction in the borough.
Coin operated parking machines will be phased out by the end of the year, with cashless mobile phone payment or chip-and-pin payment as its replacement.
Almost 300,000 motorists have registered with the Verrus cashless phone payment scheme since its introduction in autumn 2007.
