Biggest hybrid bus order so far in France
Interest in hybrid power for public transport is growing in France, with the city of Dijon ordering 102 buses from Iveco – the largest single order for hybrids so far in France. The order is split between 41 standard and 61 articulated vehicles, with the vehicles being built in France at the Iveco Irisbus factory in Annonay. The serial hybrid drive system is supplied by BAE Systems.
