New group to promote Cable car schemes
Engineering, legal and property experts have joined forces to launch UK Cable Car Advisers, and promote the adoption of the technology.
Following the successful recent opening of the Emirates Air Line cable car link across the Thames between the O2 Arena and Excel Centre in London, carrying up to 2,500 passengers per hour, the new grouping plans to open up prospects for further deployments as an additional urban transport mode in cities.
