Windscreen sensor gives weather data in passenger counts
German public transport ITS specialist INIT chose the Intertraffic 2012 exhibition in Amsterdam to debut a bus windscreen wiper sensor enhancement to its IRMA-MATRIX automatic passenger counting (APC) sensor. The aim is to use weather-related data to improve the realism of counts to enable more accurate future service planning.
