Alstom is planning the purchase of Translohr
Alstom and the French Strategic Investment Fund (FSI) have been studying a joint €60 million purchase of 85% of specialist Alsatian tram manufacturer Translohr. Parent company of the group Lohr Industries would retain a 15% stake.
It appears that the acquisition would underpin the continued sustainability of the business by providing access to the commercial network of Alstom Transport and its offer to city authorities, and expertise in management, technical skills and purchasing...
