Grand Central appoints new MD
Richard McClean has taken over from Tom Clift as managing director at rail operator Grand Central. McClean (above) will continue as head of parent group Arriva’s Tyne & Wear Metro operation. Grand Central, which runs direct services between Sunderland, Hartlepool and London, was taken over by DB-owned Arriva UK in November 2011.
