Stagecoach expands in US with acquisition of Coach America businesses

Stagecoach is set to expand its coaching operating in the United States with the acquisition of nine coaching businesses from Coach America which has been operating under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection since January 2012.
The businesses being acquired include contract, line-run, charter and sightseeing operations for a total price of US$134.2m (£85m). A Sellers’ Option covers a further 85 coaches for up to US$25.6m £16m. Stagecoach said that the deal covered selected parts...
