Hammond approves £4.5bn Intercity Express Programme
Transport Secretary Philip Hammond has given the go-ahead for a £4.5bn Intercity Express Programme (IEP) and £704m plans to electrify the Great Western Main Line (GWML) between Cardiff, Bristol and Didcot.
