The deadlock of a contractual dispute over construction of Edinburgh’s tram scheme appears to remain unresolved in the wake of a council meeting that investigated a number of solutions to problem plagued scheme.
Transport Initiatives Edinburgh, the arms-length tram delivery company, and contractor Bilfinger Berger, who have not undertaken any work on on-street sections since last autumn, are currently locked in dispute over the slow pace of work and the spiraling costs of the scheme.
