It’s time to show rail travel in a positive light

During 2009, two on-screen adverts for train travel were so inspiring that I determined halfway through them to go somewhere - anywhere - by train as soon as I could.
The first showed train travel as the gateway to life's exciting social and entertainment opportunities, while the second conclusively proved rail travel to be romantic and adventurous, and superior to any other journey mode I might be considering.
