GMPTE confirms Leather is to remain as chief exec

The leadership of GMPTE has been confirmed on a more permanent basis, with the news that David Leather, the current interim chief executive, is to remain in the role for at least two more years.

Leather, who is a partner at Ernst & Young, joined GMPTE as interim chief executive in 2006 from his post as finance director of the Olympic Delivery Authority, where he was on secondment for a year.
