Edinburgh tram schedule running to time
Edinburgh City Council says that the current costs of the city’s beleaguered tram project remain in line with the revised budget of £776m and that passenger services may begin ahead of the current summer 2014 target date.
To date, £669m has been spent on the major transport scheme and, by the end of November, all major utilities will have been re-positioned and renewed and Princes Street will be completely re-opened to traffic.
