Don’t let district join city-region LTB, says Notts
Nottinghamshire County Council has protested to the DfT about plans by one of its constituent districts to join the Sheffield City Region Local Transport Body.
Bassetlaw District Council, which borders South Yorkshire and includes the towns of Retford and Worksop, wants to join the city region local transport body rather than be a member of the D2N2 LTB covering Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Derby and Nottingham (LTT 12 Oct).
