DfT considers new funds to tackle road network 'pinch points'
The DfT is considering expanding its pinch points programme and extending it to local highway authorities.
Steve Gooding, the director general of the DfT domestic group, revealed at the Highways Term Maintenance Association annual conference that the Department could extend the fund this year and launch a local government equivalent.
