Deadline for local transport bodies
The DfT has given local authorities and Local Enterprise Partnerships until the end of September to decide the boundaries for their local transport bodies (LTBs) that will manage major scheme funding from April 2015.
John Dowie, the DfT’s director of local transport, wrote to council chief executives and LEP chairs this week, setting out the Department’s requirements.
