LGA runs transport delivery review

The Local Government Association is working with four local authorities – Cornwall, Staffordshire, Cambridgeshire and Manchester – on ways to improve transport policy delivery. The project includes examining how working with the DfT and the Highways Agency can be strengthened and the possible devolution of further powers. The LGA is scheduled to discuss issues arising from the project with the transport secretary in December.
