Tube extension backed in new Battersea Power Station plans
The new owners of the Battersea Power Station in London have announced their development plans for the site, to include the planned extension of the Northern Line.
SP Setia, Sime Darby and the Employees Pension Fund of Malaysia said the development value of the project is expected to be £8 billion, and would include housing, office space, a hotel and retail space. The owners said they were keen to accelerate the development and expect to begin work on the ground next summer.
