Go Ahead in third Suffolk bus takeover
Go-Ahead Group has continued expanding in Suffolk with the acquisition of Chambers of Bures. The 30-vehicle deal follows the acquisition of Hedingham Omnibuses in March, which established a foothold in Suffolk, followed by the takeover of Anglian Buses in April. Go-Ahead now operates nearly 200 vehicles in the county. The company established a presence in East Anglia with the purchase of Konnectbus in Norfolk in 2010.
