Single ScotRail franchise urged
MSPs have called on Transport Scotland to award the next franchise for internal Scottish rail services as a single entity rather than splitting it into multiple franchises or a single franchise with a dual focus on commercial and social routes. The Scottish Parliament’s infrastructure and capital investment committee says anything other than a single franchise could create duplication and complexity....
